การซักเสื้อยืดนั้นควรจะซักในน้ำเย็นด้วยผงซักฟอกแบบถนอมสีผ้า แยกซักผ้าขาวและผ้าสี และควรกลับด้านในออกมาด้านนอกเพื่อเป็นการถนอมลวดลายบนเสื้อ
ใช้น้ำยาปรับผ้านุ่มเพื่อลดการยับ และถ้าคุณซักด้วยเครื่องซักผ้าล่ะก็ ควรจะนำผ้าออกจากเครื่องทันทีที่เสร็จสิ้นการปั่นขั้นตอนสุดท้าย
